Walker Davis is going to ruin me… but maybe, just this once, it’ll be worth it.
I’m an outcast, living a life that never felt like mine. When I went to that hockey game, I just wanted an escape. What I found was him—Walker Davis, the superstar goalie they call “Disney” because he’s every girl’s Prince Charming.
One night. That’s all I asked for. And he promised to give it to me.
But now, he’s everywhere. Watching. Waiting. Knowing things he shouldn’t.
He tells me I’m his dream, his endgame. He says I’m the one… and he’s not just dreaming of a future together—he’s trying to change my last name.
He’s intense. Relentless. A little crazy.
But there’s something about his obsession that pulls me in, even when every warning bell is going off.
In the middle of this twisted fairytale, I have to ask myself—can a wrong date lead to a real happily ever after?
This Kindle Book features a morally grey antihero, an intense connection, and a darker twist on a hockey romance.

Who knew that a real-life Disney prince could be so unhinged? The evolution from a sweet, awe-struck NHL goalie to a morally bankrupt, over-the-top, possessive, protective, law-breaking alpha Daddy was meteoric.
And we LOVE HIM for this.
Walker has a family legacy of love at first sight. This book lives up to that legacy and so much more as he positions himself in her life. Plus, we are introduced to his brother, Parker Davis (who we will read about in The Wrong Quarterback).
Olivia, our FMC, has endured so much trauma, and her life is so managed and constricted that even Walker's overwhelming, obsessive presence feels liberating.
A big theme in this book is realizing that your true identity might be a little different than the one the world assigns to you. Olivia is a world-renowned pop star, but she's also a human being who wants safety, stability and a pretty deranged but super sweet soul mate. Walker is the sweet, handsome prince in every story, but he's also her fiercest protector who wants to make her dreams (her REAL dreams) a reality.
This is a big love story. Emotions run high. There is tension, banter, danger, and an intense, unshakeable connection. Obviously, this is fiction; It is swoony, spicy, unhinged, and precisely the type of story that makes you binge-read.
I adored so many aspects of this book, including banter, bromance, found family, deep emotional connections, and wonderfully compassionate and relatable representations of mental health, trauma, and PTSD.
This book (like this entire series) is sweet, spicy, entertaining, and fast-paced. I binged the entire series in one long weekend because I simply could not put the books down!
I loved how Disney went from the super nice guy to slowly realizing he’s unhinged when it comes to the love of his life. Their story was a fun one and also a painful one. I seriously felt for Olivia a couple of places I actually wanted to cry. I’m starting to feel that Author may have issues with mothers or something because they all seem to hate their daughters. I hope this means that Olivia‘s reighn will change things.
This had a lot of my favorite tropes in it touch her and die over the top alpha possessive morally gray breeding just a whole bunch of fun taboo things. And the level of steam in this book wow oh wow, just off the charts. Each book seems to get more and more hot. I should say I guess so so excited and loved every second of it.
All in all, this was my favorite book. I will be getting the series now that I’ve fallen in love with at least two of the three out so far. I can’t wait to hear Camden and Logan stories! If C.R. Jane keeps on this track, I can only imagine what these next boys have in store for us!!! This book here though, really kept my attention and have depth as well as smüt which I love. I was engrossed with the story line, wondering what was going to happen and I only had one loose end in this book, about how Walker got to be a groomsman. No spoiler but yeah, there was NO closure there. Maybe in a future book as the Circle of Trust just keeps growing.
️️️
“So far my actions had screamed unhinged wackadoodle.”
UNHINGED x3
The circle of Trust is growing and Disney is a simp for Linc! I honestly cannot get over how obsessed he is with him, it’s really cute, and hilarious
I really enjoyed this book! Honestly, they keep getting better and my love for my unhinged hockey boys keeps growing!
I think Walker has reached the top of my list when it comes to unhingedness… I mean… I don’t want to spoil but let’s just say… the sewing kit… next level of crazy there
I really liked Olivia as well. All these FMCs have gone through the absolute most and I feel so sorry for them.
Once again I loved all the Tay Tay references… the friendship beads how CR Jane thinks of these things is beyond me and I’m absolutely here for it
I think what I loved most about this book was the friendship between all the guys, they’re like a little family of crazies and are there for each others crazy. I really cannot read these books with a straight face, I’m constantly laughing out loud or grinning like an absolute idiot!
Seriously you need to read these books. Like yesterday!
ANDDDDDDD Walker "disney" Davis... ufffff. He's like the untamed beast... LITERALLY... and I guess I kinda love craziest DISNEY ✨️
But overall I absolutely loved this one and I can't wait for Camden's story.
Olivia had such trauma from her past and didn't think she deserved anything other than one night with Walker.
These two together were sweet but hot, too.
Getting more Lincoln, Ari, Munroe, and Blake was so enjoyable.
I know there is often talk about a girl gang, where they support each other, but the chats with all the men of the Circle of Trust (and Walker's brothers in a separate chat) were just hilarious and thoroughly enjoyable. They just make you want to be in the chat with them.
I can't wait to read Camden's (Hero's) story next.
